No, you're not dreaming, this is indeed a Pinot Noir in Languedoc ! La Bastide des Songes has taken the bold step of producing a Burgundy-inspired vintage, but at home in the South! A successful bet! A light red Pinot Noir color, but with darker reflections than in Burgundy. The nose is cherry, and the morello cherry also takes on more jammy notes of prune. On the palate, we find these aromas in a material that combines the finesse and lightness of the grape variety with the roundness and generosity of the wines of the South . La Bastide de Songes allows us to rediscover Pinot Noir in this atypical and surprising vintage with a very good quality/price/pleasure ratio!
