Presentation of Domaine Guilhem Barré - Singular Fantasy

If you want to discover Cabardès , come and taste Fantaisie Singulière from Domaine Guilhem Barré . Elegant and precise, it plays on the freshness of the fruit within a solid mineral framework. Energetic, enveloping palate with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. A tribute to Alain Bashung’s “Military Fantasy”.

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Since 2008, Guilhem Barré has worked tirelessly to translate the Carcassonne terroir into the language of wine. His company is located more precisely in Ventenac-Cabardès, a small town in Languedoc, and develops at the foot of the Montagne Noire mountains, located in the extreme southwest of the Massif Central. Guilhem inaugurates his agricultural and lifestyle project there, starting immediately with an organic viticultural approach, today adopted on approximately 6.5 hectares of vines, which benefit from significant organic contributions to the terroir. Located in the Cabardès appellation, in a windy region which is at the crossroads of two climatic universes, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The company mainly cultivates Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Grenache grape varieties, vinified in spontaneous fermentation.
