Presentation of Abalone Rillettes

Abalone, or sea ear , is a valuable gastropod that lives at the base of shallows or under rocks in Brittany. Iodized with an inimitable taste, abalone feeds on algae and plant particles. Erwan, an abalone farmer on the Ile de Groix, passionately collects and breeds abalone, fishing for which is strictly regulated and limited. Groix et Nature invites you to discover, through this subtle, authentic and unique recipe, the incomparable flavors of this animal endemic to the island of Groix.

BRAND HISTORY

A family business which develops in harmony and in a reasoned manner with its island in Brittany, Groix et Nature, offers you recipes which highlight raw materials mainly from local fishing, with passion. Since its creation in 1999, Groix et Nature has been committed to developing the preservation of “its” island, in southern Brittany. Located directly on Port Lay, the Groix et Nature production workshop makes all kinds of sea rillettes, fish soups and other marine delicacies.
