This estate is first and foremost a family affair because it is Valérie and Eric who are the owners. Florent , their nephew, joined them after ten years spent discovering wine estates in France, New Zealand and South Africa. The estate is made up of approximately 13 hectares . We mainly grow grape varieties such as Gamay noir, Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Tressallier . They turned to sustainable agriculture because “expressing your terroir well means that”. There is no doubt that production can become “organic” in the future . We find in each wine a remarkable taste whether it is a white, a red or even a rosé. Saint-Pourçain can be enjoyed and combined with various dishes. The wines are aged in concrete vats for entry-level products and in oak barrels for the most prestigious. The estate is currently in the 2nd year of organic conversion.
