HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Since 1930, the familyGasparriis engaged in viticulture. Between 1988 and the early 2000s, wine production grew considerably thanks to the purchase of new estates, particularly theFarmhouse of Agrestoin 1997. From the creation of "Posato", a Sangiovese passito red wine, made using the traditional method of drying grapes on typical Vin Santo racks, to the rediscovery of red grape varieties that have historically thrived in the Mediterranean basin. "Visyr" is one example, made from a blend of Syrah and Viognier grapes.
