Presentation of Clos Perdus - Cuvée 171 - Red

Cuvée 171 from Domaine Les Clos Perdus is an intense and expressive organic Corbières . Its color is a deep ruby. The nose has an aromatic bouquet concentrated on black fruits, notes of garrigue and tobacco. On the palate the wine is elegant. We appreciate the notes of black fruits such as blackberry and cherry, which combine with delicate tannins and a slight acidity. Cuvée 171 is the star vintage of the estate, the grapes come from plots located in Corbières Maritimes and Hautes Corbières to bring depth to the wine. A great Corbières wine to discover.

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

Les Clos Perdus, created in 20003, is a wine cellar based in Peyriac-de-Mer, a picturesque village in Corbières in the south of France, the plots extend over 21 hectares. Our name, Les Clos Perdus, was inspired by the discovery of isolated plots in the Languedoc and Roussillon massifs where magnificent and varied old vines grew. To limit sulfur and copper treatments, they spray the vines with herbal teas, algae biostimulants, lithotamne, and clay. The choice of low mechanization means that they spend a lot of time in the vineyard. The work is done on foot and the interventions are manual. They can thus closely follow the evolution of the vines.
