Presentation of Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur - Meursault 1er Cru Charmes
The Meursault 1er Cru Charmes comes from two plots, one in the Charmes du Supérieur, the other in the Charmes du Sous. Vinified separately, they are assembled before bottling. South of the village of Meursault, below Perrières, in the middle of the hillside between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. With a nose of vanilla, honey and white flowers and a round and rich wine on the palate, you will not be disappointed with this vintage full of elegance.
HISTORY OF THE ESTATE
The Domaine was formed when 2 distinguished Burgundian families came together . Today, the Domaine is managed by François Bitouzet , the 6th generation of the family. Owning 13.5 hectares of vines in Volnay and Meursault, 60% of the estate's volume is red while 40% is white.
