Presentation of Domaine Michel Briday Rully 1er Cru Gresigny – White

A real favorite ! This Rully 1er Cru Gresigny from Domaine Michel Briday has everything it takes to delight demanding lovers of great Burgundy white wine ! Brilliant gold color with green reflections. Nose of fresh, white-fleshed fruits, citrus fruits and white flowers with a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is powerful and full of vigor and explodes with sublime minerality in the mouth. This Rully 1er Cru Gresigny, with its intensity and balance, is a Rully to keep among the best of the appellation. Bravo to Domaine Michel Briday !

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

The estate was created in 1970 by Michel Briday from 6 hectares of leased and sharecropped vines. Since 2000, his son Stephane Briday has taken over and cultivates his vines with the same passion, which today represents 15 hectares in the Rully , Rully 1 er Cru and Bouzeron appellations. Very dynamic, Stéphane Briday gave new impetus to both the estate's wines and the promotion of the Rully appellation. The winemaker's guideline is clear, to highlight the soils and terroirs rather than the varietal expression of the grape varieties and not to overly mark the wines by the wood. Domaine Michel Briday produces balanced and complex vintages with exemplary regularity.
