Presentation Le Fief Noir - Le Rêveur 2014 - Anjou Villages Rouge

Discover Le Rêveur 2014 , an Anjou Villages red from the young estate Le Fief Noir , which will delight lovers of powerful Loire wine . The color is intense red with tiled reflections. Nose with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, blackcurrant and spicier notes of cloves. On the palate the wine reveals dense and silky tannins which support a fresher and longer finish. In this beautiful Loire cuvée from Fief Noir , Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon balance each other and make it a Loire red wine made for the table.

History of the estate

Le Fief Noir is a 20ha wine estate located in the heart of Anjou Noir in the commune of Saint-Lambert du Lattay, near Anger. Anjou Noir is a unique wine region with its shale subsoil, ideal for growing Chenin . This is why two friends who worked together on a wine estate in Corsica, Alexis Soulas and Dominique Sirot, decided to settle on these lands by taking over the Domaine des Chesnaies in 2014. Since then, these two very dynamic young winegrowers have been cultivating Chenin , Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon , Grolleau in respect of Organic Farming in the Anjou Villages and Coteaux du Layon appellations. An area to follow closely!
