Presentation of the Manoir de la Tête Rouge – “K’Sa Tête” Pineau d’Aunis

This organic wine, 100% Pineau d'Aunis, is perfect for lovers of this grape variety. The Manoir de la Tête rouge offers us a red wine perfect for aperitifs with friends. The color is cherry. On the nose, we discover notes of black pepper, typical of Pineau d'Aunis. On the palate, we appreciate the flavors of Sichuan pepper and white pepper. The wine is round and delicious. The tannins are supple and the wine is easy to drink.

History of the estate

Funny name for a winery. The Manoir de la Tête Rouge is located on the hill of Puy de Notre-Dame in the Loire. The building was built in 1649, and it was bought by the winegrower in 1995. The surrounding 10 hectares of vines are planted on the best clay-limestone terroirs in the Saumure region. Since 1998, the estate has worked in organic farming. And since 2010 the vines have been cultivated biodynamically. Le Manoir à la Tête Rouge offers us vintages with unique character and intense taste. Loire wine lovers, taste one of their white or red brines , or why not their Pineau d’Aunis .
