Presentation Pouillon – Champagne Brut Réserve

This Brut Réserve Champagne is the emblematic vintage of the Pouillon house. This brut reserve is a blend of the estate's different terroirs aged in barrels and vats with 30% of reserve wines aged in oak barrels and tuns. The color is brilliant with golden highlights with a lively and fine bubble. The nose is distinguished by its aromas of ripe fruit, quince, acacia and almond. On the palate, this Champagne Brut Réserve from Pouillon is very balanced between yellow fruits and dried fruits, with a frank attack and a finish gently evoking honey. Perfect as an aperitif to whet your appetite!

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

The Pouillon Champagne House was founded in 1947, shortly after the Second World War, by Roger Pouillon in Mareuil sur Aÿ. Today it is Fabrice Pouillon , Roger's grandson, who cultivates the estate's 6.5 hectares of vines, combining modernity and innovation while respecting the Champagne tradition. With extensive plot work (36 identified plots), aging on lees with stirring, original foaming and careful aging, the R. Pouillon et Fils house produces vintages of great quality and consistency in the Champagne and Champagne appellation. 1st Cru. An area to follow closely!
