History of the brand

Canard des Rizières is the result of the hard work of Bernard Pujol. Based in Gard, this farmer like no other was the first in Europe to introduce an ancestral Asian method for tending rice fields. This traditional method, perfect harmony between man and nature, brings ducks into organic rice fields so that they weed and fertilize them. The rice thus has a particular taste which makes its reputation. Rice field duck is already on the menu of many major restaurants including the Plaza Athénée in Paris.
