Presentation of Château Rocher Corbin Montagne Saint Emilion 2015 - Red
A Château Rocher Corbin which has found the perfect balance between fruit and wood! A garnet color, almost black. The nose is complex, all in harmony, with notes of very ripe fruit and discreet woody notes. The ample mouthfeel restores the aromas present on the nose with fleshy fruitiness and a creamy texture, with silky tannins. Unlike many Bordeaux red wines , here the fruit is truly preserved, for our greatest pleasure! Here is a very balanced Montagne Saint Emilion that can be drunk today or after a few years in the cellar!
History of the estate
Former farm of Château Corbin in the Middle Ages then owned by the Durand family since 1880, Château Rocher Corbin is today managed by Philippe Durand who represents the fourth generation on these lands. Its objective is clear, to produce on this exceptional terroir one of the greatest wines of the Montagne Saint Emilion appellation. With its terroir suitable for Merlot and Cabernet Franc, Château Rocher Corbin produces structured and complex wines in a philosophy that aims to be respectful of the fruit and the environment. This is why since 2018, the estate has been in organic conversion by banning synthetic products, controlling yields and adopting sulfur-free vinification and aging.
