Presentation of Domaine de la Palud – Le Verger de la Palud 2020 – IGP Vaucluse Blanc

A round and fruity dry white wine from the Rhône perfect for an aperitif! Verger de la Palud is the latest addition to Domaine de la Palud vinified by the new generation who are taking very successful first steps in the profession! Pretty pale yellow color with golden highlights. The nose reveals intense notes of white-fleshed fruits, notably peach and mirabelle plum, honey, white flowers and lime blossom. The palate appears round and balanced between freshness and creaminess. The very fruity aromas typical of Viognier are counterbalanced by the finesse and fullness of Roussanne ... How can you not be seduced?!

History of the estate

The Domaine de la Palud is a property located in the south of Orange, having belonged to a Provençal nobility family since the 14th century. The estate was then purchased by Pierre Joseph Grangeon who was previously the farmer. Since 2015, Marie-Laure Grangeon has taken over the family torch and thus represents the fifth generation to cultivate these lands. Domaine de la Palud produces several vintages in the Châteauneuf du Pape , Côte du Rhône or IGP Vaucluse appellations. In short, an old estate with a promising future!
