History of the estate

Owned by the Carteyron family since 1854, Château Penin is a 45-hectare estate located in Génissac, in the Bordeaux region. Patrick Carteyron , an oenologist by trade, continues to improve the quality and reputation of his wines until realizing his dream by acquiring Château La Fleur de Penin (2.5 hectares) in Saint Emilion Grand Cru in 2011. The estate practices sustainable cultivation and seeks controlled yield to produce a healthy wine in harmony with nature.
