Presentation of Domaine de Fontenille, AOP Luberon- Cuvée Alphonse Rouge

The organic Cuvée Alphonse Rouge from Domaine de Fontenille is an AOP Luberon red wine with a nose of incredible depth for an elegant vintage. Intense aromas of blackcurrant and black cherries take us on a journey into a forest. A black forest, yes. A very delicious black forest because this cherry is not a simple cherry. Kirsched, jammy, it has significant aging potential and a promising evolution. On the palate, the attack is elegant. The notes of spices and cocoa provide contrast. A promise of longevity!

Domaine Fontenille , which has been working vines since the 17th century, is located in the heart of Provence, on the southern slopes of the Luberon. Concerned about offering wines that respect the terroir and their environment, the owners have been engaged in organic farming since 2014. The Fontenille estate benefits from an exceptional terroir with clay-limestone and stony soils which give all their character to the wines, several rewarded in the specialized press. The estate offers us an organic Fontenille Rosé cuvée that is intense on the palate and full of freshness. And a delicious and rounded Fontenille Blanc Organic cuvée . Domaine to discover for all lovers of organic Provence wines.
