Presentation of Domaine Le Nid Moulin à Vent Tradition - Red

Discover Domaine Le Nid , a young Beaujolais estate full of talent, with this Moulin à Vent Tradition vintage with a deep and generous red wine! The color is a beautiful deep ruby red. The nose of this Moulin à Vent begins with fresh grapes, then reveals notes of morello cherries and liquorice. On the palate, we find the aromas present on the nose on black fruits with the appearance of notes of spices. The palate is generous and fleshy with dense tannins which structure the wine and ensure good aging potential.

HISTORY OF THE ESTATE

The Lardet family , loving Beaujolais , and more particularly the Moulin à Vent vintage, took over the estate in 2012 and named it “ Le Nid ”. Since then, she has passionately “smoldered” her 6 hectares of vines, preserving its unity and highlighting the unique character of her terroir. Helped by a cellar master and a talented oenologist, Domaine Le Nid has redefined the methods of vinification and aging, while respecting the traditions of this great wine region. Established on the Moulin à Vent terroir, “grand lord of Beaujolais wines ”, it offers a range of wines with floral and fruity aromas but which remain full-bodied and complex, ideal for aging. The secret of these great wines lies in the particular soil of this terroir, composed of sandstone and pink granite arenas which is full of manganese, and which brings structure and complexity to the emblematic grape variety of Beaujolais : Gamay .
