BRAND HISTORY

The history of the Fiasconaro company begins in the 1950s with founder Mario Fiasconaro. Originally an ice cream maker and pastry chef in the small town of Castelbuono , Palermo region ( Sicily ), he passed on to his children a taste for pastry and local know-how. It was in the 1990s that the company really developed at the national and international level under the leadership of Nicola , a master pastry chef who had the idea of ​​creating “Sicilian” recipes for panettone , a famous traditional cake from the north of Italy. This is how creations are born such as Panettone Tradizionale with fresh Sicilian orange peels candied in Marsala, Panettone Nero Sublime with Modica chocolate or even Panettone Mandorle with almonds. The now recognized quality of Panettone Fiasconaro is essentially based on homemade sourdough , slow fermentation of the dough for 36 hours and the incorporation of high quality raw materials: frenet (Manna), Modica chocolate, almonds, vino Marsala, sweet wine Zibibbo, pistachio, orange, sulla honey etc...

Ingredients: soft wheat flour, butter, almond icing 13% (sugar, egg white, rice flour, almond flour, modified starch, flavors), sugar, eggs, egg yolk, natural yeast (flour wheat, water, yeast), granulated sugar 3%, Sicilian honey, invert sugar syrup, orange paste (orange zest, sugar, glucose syrup - fructose, lemon juice), mono and diglyceride emulsifier fatty acids, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, salt, natural vanilla flavor.
