Whiskey

Whiskey or whiskey is the generic name for a set of spirits made by distillation of malted or unmalted cereals. The origin of whiskey is still the subject of controversy today between the Scots and the Irish, each relying on their oldest proof. Subsequently, whiskey was exported to the New World (notably the United States and Canada). Since the beginning of the 20th century, distilleries have developed in Japan, then in the rest of the world more recently. And France is not left out, with nearly 100 distilleries in operation!
